A beautiful and very human story about Elvis' early life and artistic journey, with stunning illustrations by Red Nose Studio. I purchased several copies as gifts—it is on my go-to list of books to share!

I'm a big fan of RedNose Studio. I am looking forward to get all the books they illustrate. The craft, the detail, the style is unique.This book has big photos of the dioramas and the story is simple, but a good start point for every little new fan of Elvis!

First, about me: I am known as one who likes to provide cultural context to my children, family and friends. They even jest that I'm a Cliff Clavin (the character on "Cheers" who likes to salt conversations with little historical factoids.) It's true. I like to add depth and historical context (or just fun facts) to the conversation. I was looking for a gift for a young family friend whose dad is into vinyl and fascinated by rock history -- and wants to share this passion with his kid.
