The author certainly knows how to make technical information interesting. I have read other AutoCAD books, but this one is by far my favorite. Although I have just started with the book, I find it an extremely helpful and interesting read. If you are learning 2014, it is an awesome resource. The combination of keyboard and menu commands will have everyone learning faster ways to complete drawing tasks. Highly recommended!

This book is fantastic. It not only informs you about all of the features of the most complex software package that you'll ever buy, but does so in a logical manner. I've gotten through 5 chapters and really feel confident in my abilities so far.Thank you very much for this book!

Very easy to use and understand.

Great book to have on the shelf. I find myself flipping through this to refresh myself on features I don't use frequently. I wouldn't use this to learn AutoCAD though. There are other books out there that are geared more to get you started. I feel this more for somebody that at least has some experience with the program.Also a decent book to study up on certification test.

Book is great, you can get exercises from online. The link inside the book didn't actually work, I think I had to find it through the publisher. Anyways tons of stuff for autocad great for someone like myself that is starting out. Much better price here then going through my school

This is a great reference tool even for a 12+ year drafter such as myself. Covers commands and guides you step by step through processes. The index and appendix are great resources for me. Finding obscure commands when you need them is vital at times.

No problem. Exactly what I needed, and delivered in an incredibly short time.

Great help in working with AutoCAD2014. Was using a book from the library, but after checking it out twice, decided I had better purchase my own. Only thing that would have been better with this is that, if I had checked the "free shipping" search item on the left of the search box, I could have saved several dollars. Oh well.......next time.
