Wow, I have to say Raold & Eva's story was truly a wonderful tale. This is book two in the series and it was just a good as the first one. This is the story of Konal 's brother, Roald. He is now Jarl. Konal was the heroe from book 1.Eventhough, this story was short in length it did not feel like it was short. It flowed exceptionally well. There was never a lull in the story so kudos to this author. I have read some of her Highlander stories, but the Viking stories draw me in so much more so, than the others.The description from the author is sufficient, no need to go into more. I would not want to reveal any spoilers. The only thing that was not to my liking was the model on the cover. Eventhough, he had dark hair his facial features were not pleasant. His body, yes....his face no.I look forward to the next book in this series and hopefully it comes out sooner rather than later.

I read book 1 and then 3, not realizing I skipped 2 until I was a way into book 3 and decided to keep going. In book 1 and 3 I didn't care for the h until near then end, but not in this one. I loved the h and H from the start. I loved her spunk, kindness and caring heart.There is lovemaking, mildly descriptive, but with passion, because I did feel a connection with both of our main character's.There is some violence, who have to deal with a religion that is with other gods, but took awhile to get use to. The author doesn't tell us if this was the Vikings and Sami belief, or fiction.There isn't a cliffhanger, but it does end abruptly. I would have liked an epilogue too.I am not going into the premise of the story as many have explained it. It is unique, and my favorite of the 2 others I've read of the series. (ljb)

I love medieval romances, and this one fit the bill! I also like Viking lore and this had a bit as well. I would have liked to read a bit more about the female MC’s brother and mother, but that’s just me. I like a lot of back story. This is the second book in the series and I will probably go back and read the first and then the rest. I highly recommend it!

What a wonderful story of 2 different people with different beliefs. I love vikings so the story of Roald and Eva didn't disappoint me at all. Read it right through, it kept my interest. Very heartwarming. As always Violetta's books make you feel like you are right there with the characters!!

I couldn't wait for this 2nd book in the Viking Fury series. I didn't think I would like Roald. But shhhh, so far my favorite. Violetta Rand is the Goddess of Viking stories. She brings you into their world. You see, smell and feel like you are right there with Roald and Eva. Don't miss out on this AMAZING story. I very highly recommend this book !!!!!!!

The hate,envy and love of different regions of a vikings land. The well researched story of what ignorance and fear can become wben passed from father to his heirs. Well written and an enjoyable read.

I liked the strong hero and heroine in this love story in which both confront obstacles within and without themselves. I do wish the story would have been longer as I enjoyed it. I look forward to more from this author.

This was a good sequel. It began right at the point where the first left off. Though it would have been nice to know what the "mystery illness" was. A bit suspicious and reaching. But all in all, a good story.
